The purpose of this College Scholarship Essay is to attract students to study Bachelor of Civil Engineering on the campus of La Trobe in Bendigo area. It offers the opportunity for students to work in areas of skills shortage currently facing a civil engineer.

Students applying for this College Scholarship Essay must meet English language requirements as follows:
-IELTS - minimum overall band score of 6.0 with no individual band less than 6.0, or
-TOEFL - minimum score of 550 with a score of 5 or more in written English test, or
-TOEFL - minimum score of 233 with a score of 5 in essay writing.
